The sweetest excursion
It was our pleasure to welcome the primary schools of the villages Mikro Peristeri, Megalo Peristeri, Chrisovitsa and Votonosi, the 1st grade students of Ioannina Arsakeio Primary School and the 2nd grade students of 13th Primary School of Ioannina to our beekeeping facilities.
We talked about the bees and their life into the beehive, we saw the beehive products, we lit the smoker, we turned the honey extractor to get the honey out of the honeycombs and we tasted the gold treasure!
But, finally, above all we told our little friends how much we love bees, that pollination is the bee’s greatest contribution to our world and that honey must first of all be enough for them and then for us!
